Job summary

World Courier in Millbrae, CA is seeking a full-time driver to support its distribution services. You will ensure timely local pickups and deliveries, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and comply with cold chain management and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• General driving knowledge of airports and tri-state area.
• Dangerous Goods training is preferred.
• TSA and Cold Chain training are advantageous.
• Live animal handling experience is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills required.
• Understanding of all applicable SOPs is essential.
• No major convictions within last 5 years as defined by policy.
• Ability to lift, load/unload, and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines for local pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain a neat, uniform appearance and keep vehicles clean.
• Follow specific pickup and delivery instructions and cooperate with Dispatch.
• Tender and recover shipments from airports; comply with cold chain rules.
• Maintain daily vehicle logs and work manifest; report damage incidents.
• Communicate continuously with Dispatch and drive safely at all times.
• Load/unload cargo, secure loads, and follow traffic rules.
• Be willing to travel to multiple sites and overtime as needed.
• Follow COVID-19 protocols for World Courier operations.
• Lift and move packages weighing 25 to 70 lbs.
