Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking an Aircraft Deicer at Indianapolis International Airport to remove ice from aircraft and inspect for frozen contamination. You will spray deicing fluid and support multiple stations in the Northeast US region.

The role offers flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement within a safety-focused team. Part-time seasonal position with no travel required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and make sure all company policies and procedures are being followed correctly;
• Uphold and follow the duties related to de/anti-icing aircraft according to procedures for both airlines and IDS (including inspecting aircraft for frozen contamination);
• Participate in the pre-planning for the de/anti-ice event (perform checks on equipment, trucks, servicing equipment with fuel or glycol);
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads, including paperwork and log books; that all maintenance issues have been logged and reported to maintenance and all proper shutdown procedures for the equipment are followed.
