Requirements and Description

Description

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
  2. Monitor and enforce safe working habits according to OSHA/TSA/DOT/USPS regulations, policies, safety procedures, and laws.
  3. Manage shift schedules, including workstation assignments, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and shift rotations.
  4. Enforce company policies and procedures, address disciplinary issues, and promote diversity and equal opportunity initiatives.
  5. Communicate with management regarding operational issues.
  6. Conduct and schedule shift meetings.
  7. Assist in payroll administration, complete shift paperwork, and perform administrative tasks.
  8. Perform job duties of the shift, such as assisting passengers, handling special needs, ticketing, boarding, baggage reservations, and resolving complaints.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a local resident.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and up to a 10-year background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Complete SIDA training for airport security identification.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer use.
  • Understanding of ticketing procedures and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Over 4 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Effective communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • Conflict resolution skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Working Schedule: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, in a shift bid environment.

Work Environment: Must be alert to moving vehicles and aircraft, use radio equipment, and tolerate outdoor weather conditions, noise, fumes, and dust.

Physical Demands:

  • Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly.
  • Walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently.
  • Work in cramped or elevated spaces.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise Customer Agents and Leads.
