Job summary

The HUNTSVILLE-MADISON COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide executive leadership for airport operations, public safety, facilities, and intermodal center functions, reporting to the CEO. This role ensures safe, secure, compliant, and efficient operations while guiding strategic initiatives and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business, or related field; 8+ years in operations at commercial service airports, including 5+ years in supervisory/management roles.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience in airport operations.

• Provide executive leadership for airport operations, public safety, facilities, and intermodal center operations.
• Oversee budgeting, capital improvement program, and strategic initiatives.
