Job summary

Lochner, now part of Egis, is seeking a civil engineer to contribute to airport engineering projects in the United States. You will design runways, taxiways, airfield systems, and prepare technical reports and construction plans.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 1+ year of civil experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office. FAA criteria knowledge is a plus; PE is preferred by the team.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional Engineer (PE designation) preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in civil engineering; aviation experience and FAA criteria a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced position.
• Goal and deadline orientated.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Experience in design of general civil engineering projects including site design, sanitary wastewater, water and hydraulic evaluation a plus.
