Qualifications

• Must pass a 10 year background check to obtain an Airport ID.
• This position requires a valid Driver's License and to pass an MVR check and USPS clearance to handle and process mail, as well as operate equipment.
• Previous experience with forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Must be thorough and exercise sound, independent judgement.
• May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature.
• Available to work evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with others and interact appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Process USPS mail and cargo products for transport to/from aircraft and truck.
• Operate forklifts, tugs, and other equipment used to keep the flow of cargo and mail moving safely and in a timely manner.
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures as mandated by TSA and airlines.
