Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Freight Agent at Miami International Airport to handle cargo in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will scan and label items, process packages, and ensure accurate tracking in the inventory system as part of daily shipping and delivery activities. The role requires standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.
• Warehouse or inventory management experience is a plus.
• Ability to access information in print and electronic formats; use of tablets, computers and mobile devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• FAA/RAIC/TSA/Port Authority/U.S. Customs credentials may be required.
• Shift flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manual loading and unloading of cargo.
• Operate handheld scanners to scan incoming and outgoing packages.
• Verify product information by scanning barcodes for accuracy.
• Label packages to ensure proper shipment.
• Maintain high scanning accuracy to minimize errors.
• Move packages to correct warehouse locations.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily scanning and packing goals.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs in a fast-paced environment.
• Report discrepancies to leadership; inspect damaged packages.
• Ensure proper handling and storage per safety regulations; complete freight documentation.
• Participate in training on freight handling, safety and compliance; maintain clean work areas.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards; perform additional duties as assigned.
