Job summary

National Car Rental at Austin Bergman International Airport is seeking a Full Time Return Agent to provide friendly and efficient service during the rental return process. You will assist customers with the return, create a welcoming environment, and complete transactions quickly.

The starting pay is $16 per hour. When working both Saturday and Sunday there is a guaranteed weekend shift bonus of $400 per month pending attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-6 months of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services or administrative support.
• Current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers arriving on the lot using prescribed dialogue.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings.
• Identify items found in vehicles and log them for lost and found.
• Explain rental charges and provide accurate receipts.
• Provide information about transportation to the airport terminal.
• Thank customers and assess satisfaction; document any dissatisfaction.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and guide customers to complete damage/loss reports.
• Ensure proper fuel level is recorded at return.
• Complete service alerts for mechanical or body damage.
