Job description

Full-time position available with the Aviation Department, Facilities Structural Division, located at 947 Mexico City Avenue.

Normal Workdays/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitors, inspects, and maintains building management systems related equipment (HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, filters, air handlers, fire and noxious gas sensors)

• Responds to work orders pertaining to monitored management systems.

• Maintains and operates snow removal equipment, forklifts, man lifts and loaders.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRES completion of a trade school or a shop training program; OR 6 months experience in general maintenance and repair work. May be required to obtain a valid MO Class A,B, or C CDL prior to the end of the probationary period as determined by the department. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City. Must possess a valid State-issued driver's license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies.
