Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is hiring at the Philadelphia International Airport in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves bag jam clearing, conveyor maintenance, and general on-site support for airport operations on all three shifts.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, basic literacy, and the physical ability to lift 60 lbs, with willingness to work weekends/holidays in a 24/7 environment. Training and safety procedures are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to read and understand basic instructions.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and ladder work.
• Capable of working all three shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clear bags jammed in the system and address jams with safety devices.
• Clear pusher faults and re-home pusher during jams or faults.
• Clean conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Assist general maintenance staff with transporting tools and materials.
• May work in multiple areas or shifts as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas.
• Perform non-scheduled janitorial, grounds keeping, and snow removal duties.
• Reset VFD faults and fire doors.
• Encode bags and monitor for suspicious items.
• Communicate with control room about security concerns.
• Work both indoors and outdoors.
• Perform other routine labor tasks as assigned.
