Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the Service & Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).

The role performs advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance in a 24/7 airport environment, interpreting drawings and logging work in the CMMS. The incumbent communicates with the Control Room and other teams to ensure operational reliability and timely service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of technical experience in an industrial environment.
• Flexibility for 24/7 operations.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings for layout and operation.
• Schedule maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Respond to faults, alarms, and bag jams; communicate status.
• Document work in the CMMS and coordinate with Control Room.
