Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Baggage Handling System at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The role covers mechanical and electrical maintenance, preventive and corrective work, and processing service calls across 24/7 operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 5+ years in maintenance, and experience with electrical/mechanical drawings, safety protocols, and CMMS systems. Valid driver’s license required for site travel.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Requires understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical equipment per diagrams and manuals.
Observe safety practices including Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
Prepare and execute service calls and maintenance work orders.
Perform preventive maintenance and follow up on corrective tasks.
Record service reports and inventory usage; report to management.
Train and guide mechanics as needed.
