Job summary

BEUMER Group is seeking a Technician II to maintain the baggage handling system at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance under supervision, with escalation to the Shift Supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing preventive/corrective maintenance, interfacing with SAC/PLC systems, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree or cert in mechatronics/electrical/mechanical or related field.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience with automated material handling systems (airport/logistic focus).
• Able to obtain/maintain airside security clearance.
• Proficiency with BEUMER SAC systems, PLC programming (Siemens preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance on BEUMER ICSS components and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems.
• Respond to system interruptions; perform resets and root-cause analysis.
• Interface with SAC and PLC systems to monitor performance and interventions.
• Inspect system health using diagnostic tools and dashboards; recommend optimizations.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities and parts usage.
