Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a baggage handler to support airport operations. Under supervision, you will assist travelers, direct baggage flow, and ensure bags reach the correct bag room location. You will scan barcodes, encode destination data, and help with tub distribution while upholding safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of prior experience, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. English proficiency and airport badge clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience.
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge and Customs clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and directions to travelers while handling passenger baggage.
• Scan barcodes on oversized baggage and direct to correct bag room location.
• Encode destination information for bags by scanning or manual entry.
• Collect and distribute tubs for proper baggage handling procedures.
• Complete computer entries and paperwork as applicable.
• Adhere to all safety programs and company policies.
