Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, located at Miami International Airport in Miami, FL, is hiring a Bag Jam Clearer to keep baggage handling systems operating safely and efficiently. You will respond to faults, transport baggage, and assist with basic maintenance on a rotating schedule including nights and weekends.

Preferred candidates have a HS diploma/GED and experience with mechanical systems. You will operate in an outdoor ramp environment and must meet security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to baggage handling system faults to ensure quick resolution.
• Safely transport baggage within designated handling areas.
• Identify and report issues to prevent system disruptions or failures.
• Assist in routine maintenance tasks and basic mechanical repairs as required.
• Provide operational support during system outages or malfunctions.
• Comply with safety standards and contribute to a collaborative environment.
