You will work early day shifts, relocate assistance offered, with a 5-on/2-off schedule and shifts from 4:00am to 2:00pm. The role requires 5+ years in Japanese cooking and HACCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume or specialty kitchen.
• Experience in authentic Japanese cuisine.
• Basic understanding of the Japanese language to read recipes and interface with customers.
• Airline catering experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow airline plating guides, recipe specifications and presentation standards.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety.
• Able to work a pre-determined schedule with early shifts and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic meals from scratch for a designated airline customer.
• Execute recipes with precision following airline standards.
• Plate dishes according to menu specs and ensure flight readiness.
• Adhere to airline, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen stations for timely production and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage.
• Assist with menu presentations and new airline menus.
• Monitor inventory and support waste reduction initiatives.
