Hallmark Aviation is seeking professional Airline Ramp Turnaround Coordinators at Newark Liberty International Airport.

PAID TRAINING PROVIDED! PREVIOUS AIRLINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!

DEPARTMENT: Newark, NJ (EWR)

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Minimum 12 months airline experience preferred
  • Ramp & Bagroom experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of airline computer systems
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to work in teams and lead ramp team
  • Able to travel for training

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Coordinate Weight and Balance documentation with Load Control
  • Maintain daily trip files and station traffic reports
  • Supervise ramp functions
  • Conduct operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to departure
  • Coordinate all operational activities during irregularities
  • Handle all phases of aircraft handling: catering, cleaning, fueling, boarding/de-boarding
  • Manage loading/unloading and cargo/baggage security
  • Coordinate passenger boarding and de-boarding processes
  • Ensure proper handling of Bagscan
  • Provide daily performance reports to the manager
  • Control Left Behind Baggage Index (LBI)
  • Implement new procedures and process improvements
  • Handle irregularities considering customer, economic, and legal factors
  • Report flight handling irregularities
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Security, and Legal regulations
  • Perform checks under station operations surveillance

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • At least 18 years old, High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Proficient in English; other languages may be required
  • Knowledge and experience in terminal and airport operations preferred
  • Retail and/or hospitality work experience required
  • Able to stand for 3-4 hours at a time
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Valid US work authorization
  • Professional demeanor and presentation
  • Flexible schedule and availability
  • Background check and fingerprinting required
  • Drug screening prior to hire

JOB DETAILS:

Location: Newark, New Jersey, United States

Position Type: Full-Time/Regular

TRAINING: Selected candidates will attend and complete paid mandatory training.

SHIFT: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Graveyard

SCHEDULE: To be discussed at interview

SALARY/BENEFITS: $19.75/Hour + $4.60/hr with Medical Benefits, voluntary Dental, Vision, and 401K
