Qualifikationen

• Four (4) years of experience in sheet metal installation and fabrication.
• Maintenance experience related specifically to sheet metal products.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Troubleshoot service issues with systematic, timely solutions.
• Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Provide quality, professional customer-related services.
• Able to work and communicate effectively individually and in a team.
• Work independently in commercial and construction settings.

Aufgaben

• Conduct repairs on metal and composite structures.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Perform major repairs on airframe sheet metal or composite.
• Perform alterations on the airframe using repair manuals or drawings.
• Install, alter and repair sheet metal product systems from blueprints and work orders.
• Plan and coordinate tasks and material quantities for work.
• Prepare equipment and use tools such as saws, drills, shears, brakes, and rollers.
• Coordinate and assemble sheet metal products.
• Solder and bolt connections; apply insulation as required; inspect installations for conformance.
• Perform quality assurance checks on sheet metal installations.
