Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering or related technical discipline with 4+ years post-bachelor or 2+ years with masters.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory.
• Excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional Engineering License desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports operation of engineering systems by evaluating manufacturing, integration, and production needs and problems and develops effective approaches to resolving those issues.
• Troubleshoots airframe, aerostructure, mechanical-system, installation, and integration issues using engineering principles.
• Leads cross-functional issue-resolution with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, suppliers, and engineering groups to resolve production and integration issues.
• Coordinates and monitors engineering issue resolution and design-development activities across shops and QA, Manufacturing Engineering, and related groups.
• Prepares and coordinates engineering changes, configuration impacts, cut-in plans, production incorporation, and fielding activities.
• Delivers technical presentations and supports estimates and proposals as directed by customer and program management.
