V2X Inc in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to support our modernization and sustainment efforts. The role requires performing aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification to ensure airworthiness in compliance with FAA regulations.

You will disassemble and reassemble airframes, engines, and systems, conduct routine inspections, and interpret manuals, drawings, and blueprints. Mentoring less experienced mechanics is also expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• A&P license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of diversified aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience in MRO environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification to ensure airworthiness.
• Disassemble/assemble airframes, engines, and systems.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Train and mentor less experienced mechanics.

V2X is hiring! We are looking for an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to support the Modernization and Sustainment site in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks to ensure airworthiness and compliance with company and FAA regulations.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs assembly, disassembly, and repairs on airframes, engines, and systems.
• Removes, replaces, and repairs parts of engines, airframes, and systems.
• Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications.
• Conducts routine inspections and troubleshooting of airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.
• Conducts airframe system and component changes and system checkouts.
• Interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Trains and mentors less experienced mechanics

Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance, or airframe sheet metal maintenance.
• Experience in MROs (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul).
• Ability to operate all necessary power tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles.
• Ability to use arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications.

Education And Experience

• High school graduate or GED required
• A&P License is required

Security Clearance & Other Requirements

• Ability to access systems with information restricted to U.S. citizens per federal contract requirements is required.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance.
