Position Overview: As an A&P Technician at Signature Aviation, you will play an integral part in the high level of service that we provide for our guests. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, overhauling, upgrading, and cleaning aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, aircraft manufacturer recommendations, and company policies. Technicians atall levels maintain detailed records of work conducted, inspections performed, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
•Education:
o Tech I and II: Associate’s degree or equivalent.
o Tech III: Master’s degree or equivalent with significant experience.
•Experience: Relevant field experience varies by level, from zero to ten+ years.
o Tech I – Zero to 2 years’ experience
o Tech II – 2 to 10 years’ experience
o Tech III – 10+ years’ experience
•Licenses: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required for all levels.
•Skills:
o All levels: Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively.
o Tech II, III and IV: Manage projects and teams.

•Must pass background checks, drug screens, and be insurable by the company.
•Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.

•Technical Tasks: Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks, including engine runs, taxi operations, engine and flight control rigging, and troubleshooting aircraft systems.
•Documentation: Read and interpret technical data, make work order entries, and maintain detailed records.
•Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety rules, regulations, and company procedures.
•Supervision and Management (level dependent): Supervise and mentor junior technicians, manage multiple projects and crews, and communicate effectively with customers and senior leadership.
