Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. is seeking a Contract Field Team technician to perform maintenance on military aircraft across multiple locations.

The role requires travel for extended periods and hands-on work with wiring harnesses, terminations, and related maintenance tasks. You will read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, maintain tools and shop supplies, operate specialized equipment, and document actions in appropriate maintenance records while adhering to safety programs and security

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
• Broad knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements.
• Familiar with documenting maintenance actions in USAF/USN/US Army records.
• Familiar with installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates, etc.
• Must be a US citizen; ability to obtain security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Train on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses, basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasks * Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings
• Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned
• Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures

• Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training: * High School diploma required * Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred * Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required Experience: * 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required * Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements * Knowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF, USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems * Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc. Security: * Must be a US citizen * Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required * Successful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46, DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC)
