Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform aircraft inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement on airframes and engines at our Maryland facility. Candidates must hold an active FAA A&P certificate, be a US citizen, pass a background check and drug screen, and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance after starting.

A high school diploma and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA A&P certification with no prior FAA violations.
• US citizen with ability to obtain Secret Clearance after start.
• Typically 3+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and component replacement on airframes and engines.
• Work hands-on with aircraft systems and use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to ensure compliance with safety standards.

***This is a 12+ month extendable W2 Contract with good opportunity for fulltime conversion and include benefits offerings as well.***

We’re seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform aircraft inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement. This role works hands-on with aircraft airframes and engines, using technical drawings, manuals, schematics, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools to ensure work meets applicable aviation and safety standards.

Requirements:

• US Citizen with clean background check and drug screen - able to obtain a Secret Clearance after starting
• Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations
• Typically 3+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
• Advanced aircraft airframe and engine maintenance/troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and technical publications
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Own tools in good working order by the time the job starts and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass/maintain Class 3 Physical requirements, including hearing test
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbsAbility to speak, read, and write English

Preferred:

• FAA repair station and/or QA experience
• FAR/DFARS familiarity
• Aerospace/Defense, DoD, or U.S. Military background
• Ability to travel and work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance if required
