Job summary

Pacific Air Forces seeks a senior airfield management professional to oversee base operations and airfield facilities, ensuring flight safety and efficient operations at the installation. Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Airfield Management/Base Operations.
• Develops and directs the implementation of short and long term operational plans, policies, and procedures of base operations activities and airfield facilities essential to flight safety and flight operations.
• Oversees maintenance and operation of the airfield to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
• Represents the installation for all airfield management matters at various conferences, meetings, and one-on-one dealings with local officials, other DoD components, and other Federal and State organizations concerning management and use of the airfield.
• Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
