Job summary

Unifi Maintenance in Charleston, SC seeks a Technician at all skill levels to diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and employee shuttles, from entry to advanced levels. You will work across mechanical, diesel, electrical, HVAC, and computerized systems to keep fleet reliability high.

We offer training and career development programs, a company tool allowance, and a set of tools after one year of service. Additional pay up to $4.50/hr for ASE and A/C certifications, with mentoring from senior

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience and knowledge of servicing vehicles.
• Ability to work independently with supervision as required.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, diesel, gasoline, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and computerized vehicle systems.
• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Conduct detailed inspections to ensure compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Mechanic I and Mechanic II employees.
• Assist with repair planning, parts procurement, and inventory control.
• Verify the quality of completed repairs and maintenance activities.
• Support emergency roadside and operational repairs as required.
• Recommend process improvements to increase fleet reliability and efficiency.
• Perform all other duties within technical capabilities and experience.
