Job summary

Habersham County seeks an Airport Line Technician (part-time) to provide basic aircraft services, marshal and move aircraft, fuel and service, and assist customers on the field. The role requires interacting with pilots and crew, safekeeping of equipment, and operating outdoors in varying weather.

Candidate should be able to lift 50 lb occasionally and 100 lb rarely, with a valid driver's license and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a variety of equipment and vehicles, including a riding
• Must have a valid driver's license and approved driving record
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 100 pounds rarely
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with NATA's Professional Line Service Training is preferred

Responsibilities

• Marshaling aircraft through arrivals and departures, moving aircraft
• Providing basic service for aircraft (fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.)
• Driving vehicles in areas congested with aircraft, vehicles, and equipment
• Transporting clients
• Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members
• Assist with customer service duties as needed
• Ensure hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly
• Maintaining a safe environment by following procedures, rules and regulations
• Yard work, including mowing of facility grounds
