Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Air Traffic Systems Electrician to install communications and automation systems at FAA facilities nationwide. The role involves contributing to site installations, upgrading existing equipment, and traveling across the United States to perform field work on NAS infrastructure.

Qualified candidates will be licensed electricians with 4+ years of experience, including extensive underground and above-ground installations, reading project drawings, and operating test equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed electrician.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience with above and below ground electrical installations, duct banks, manholes, steel racks, towers and poles, surveying, concrete work, excavation equipment operations, and airfield systems.
• Familiarity with construction quality and safety best practices.
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, and client orders and standards.
• Experience with the use of electrical and electronics test equipment.
• 100% travel is required throughout the United States, its territories and possessions, and anywhere federally owned and operated air traffic equipment is operated.
• Must pass government background check to qualify.
• Must be able to pass fleet driver motor vehicle history check as well as DOT physical requirements.
• OSHA 30 training preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position works as part of a construction and installation crew installing new or upgrading existing equipment and systems.
• The Electrician completes projects on airports and at remote facilities in various environments establishing new or upgrading existing systems.
• Work will involve electrical systems installation, civil construction tasks, and electrical equipment installation tasks.
