Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Air Traffic Systems Electrician to join our Federal Solutions team. You will install communications and automation systems at FAA facilities across the United States NAS, traveling nationwide to support airports and remote sites.

The role requires a licensed electrician with 8+ years of field experience, ability to read drawings, perform site work, and pass government background checks and DOT physicals.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed electrician.
• Extensive experience with above and below ground electrical installations, duct banks, manholes, steel racks, towers and poles.
• Able to read, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, and client orders and standards.
• Experience with the use of electrical and electronics test equipment.
• 100% travel is required throughout the United States and territories.
• Must pass government background check.
• Must be able to pass fleet driver motor vehicle history check and DOT physical requirements.
• 8+ years of experience required.
• OSHA 30 training preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position works as part of a construction and installation crew installing new or upgrading existing equipment and systems such as communications systems and automation systems.
• The Electrician completes projects on airports and at remote facilities in various environments establishing new or upgrading existing systems.
• Work will involve electrical systems installation, civil construction tasks, and electrical equipment installation tasks.
