Job summary

KDG Construction Consulting seeks a Senior Airside Construction Manager to lead a multimillion-dollar airside development as the owner's representative. The role demands expertise in airside environments, Design-Build, and coordination with airport operations, airlines, inspectors, and FAA.

The ideal candidate will manage schedule, cost, quality, safety, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout activities, including night shift support for active airport construction operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years in aviation/public facility construction, including landside airport work.
• Experience with airfield paving, runway/taxiway projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves on behalf of the owner to provide direction and management of the construction project.
• Directs planning to identify milestones and priorities.
• Determines budget estimates and staffing requirements for scope and schedule.
• Monitors contractor activity and recommends corrective action.
• Manages manpower, materials, and equipment for efficiency and costs.
• Provides updates to Owner and stakeholders.
• Ensures quality control and safety compliance.
• Oversees inspections and contract document compliance.
• Prepares progress reports for management and clients.
• Maintains client and community relations.
