Job summary

RS&H is seeking an Airfield Civil Engineer I to join our Aviation Practice in Vienna, VA. You will contribute to airport projects across the U.S. and abroad, focusing on runway, taxiway, and apron design, as well as pavement and utility infrastructure design.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree or equivalent from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with at least two years of airport design experience.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain PE License within 6 months.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office required for completing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support airport project design and management across varied sizes and complexities.
• Coordinate with airports, airlines, FAA and other tenants to align project requirements.
• Develop runway, taxiway, and apron designs, pavement and utility infrastructure.
