Summary:

Goldbelt Nisga'a TEK, LLC is looking for an Airdrop Systems Technician.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage and supervise Army airdrop rigging, aerial delivery equipment maintenance activities, airdrop operations, and maintain autonomous and semi-autonomous aerial delivery equipment.
• Supervise the inspection and packing of parachutes and ensure unserviceable, non-repairable, and overage parachutes are retired from inventory.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to commanders and staff of organizations with the mission of conducting/receiving airborne and/or airdrop operations.
• Plan for airdrop and aerial resupply operations.
• Supervise inspection of parachutes and parachute components to detect flaws in materials and workmanship.
• Supervise packing of parachutes and maintain compliance standards and criteria for life support systems and other delivery equipment.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completed the Initial Military Training (IMT) and Professional Military Education (PME) courses required for the specific MOS.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field.
