Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Saint Augustine, FL to translate aircraft design requirements into manufacturable work instructions. This onsite role requires strong reading of drawings and BOM management to support current and new production lines.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience, or a STEM Master/PhD with corresponding years. Experience with NX/CATIA, SAP, and MES is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of work experience in an engineering manufacturing environment; OR Masters in STEM field with 3 years of experience OR PhD with 0 years of experience
• Experience with NX or similar CAD software
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications, production diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical specifications (English)

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret aircraft design requirements for manufacturability and translate them into clear, executable manufacturing work instructions.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Production, Tool Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality to define build processes, incorporate drawing changes, and establish tooling requirements for current and new production.
• Develop, release, and maintain Manufacturing Engineering documentation, including work instructions, visual aids, and Bills of Material.
