Job summary

Signalink, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Electrician to perform installation, modification, and testing of aircraft electrical systems in support of U.S. Army aviation programs. The role involves wiring, harness fabrication, and troubleshooting with a focus on safety and quality.

Applicants should have 3–7 years of related experience, high school diploma, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required, and the team collaborates closely with engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or military technical training in aircraft electrical systems preferred.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in aircraft electrical work and avionics.
• Experience fabricating and installing wiring, harnesses, and interconnects.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft electrical installation, modification, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, modify and repair wiring harnesses and interconnects per drawings.
• Route, terminate, connect wiring and electrical components safely and accurately.
• Build harnesses using approved materials and workmanship standards.
• Crimp, solder, splice, pin, and depin connectors as required.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for installations.
• Test electrical systems with multimeters and diagnostic tools to verify functionality.
• Troubleshoot faults, shorts, opens, and poor connections in wiring systems.
• Document installation, inspection, testing and troubleshooting activities.
• Support engineering during installation, testing, and validation activities.
