Aviation Welder

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, braze, and weld aircraft‑related components and assemblies
  • Complete precision welding using TIG, MIG, oxy‑fuel, and approved aerospace welding methods
  • Build and modify tooling, fixtures, and fabricated metal parts
  • Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance documentation, work instructions, and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate repair and inspection records in accordance with aviation requirements
  • Assist with inventory and procurement of welding materials and shop supplies
Experience Levels
Welder II
  • 2+ years of welding or metal fabrication experience in aviation, manufacturing, or industrial settings
  • Comfortable handling day‑to‑day welding and repair assignments independently
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with aircraft, turbine, or other high‑tolerance components required
  • Ability to pass and maintain aerospace welding certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a production/shop environment
  • Open to overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel when needed
