Job summary

Global Logistics Support Services seeks an Aircraft Worker for our Jacksonville NAS, FL operation. The role performs repairs and maintenance on aircraft per higher-grade instructions, with emphasis on structural, systems, and engine components to keep aircraft safe and mission-ready.

Candidates must hold an Active Secret DOW clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be available for multiple shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Formal maintenance work on aircraft, following orders from higher graded personnel.
• Ability to troubleshoot aircraft systems and components during inspections.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to aircraft following orders from higher grade workers.
• Assist in troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, and systems.
• Remove, clean, reinstall and replace defective parts and components as needed.
• May supervise jacking, towing, and adjustments to aircraft as required.
• Obtain standard parts by referring to manuals and samples for references.
• Assist in pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections and record work performed.
