Jet Aviation Staffing, located near JB Andrews, MD, seeks an Aircraft Technician II to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems under minimal supervision. The role supports complex aviation operations with a focus on safety and quality.

Required FAA A&P certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years including mid/large aircraft, plus ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance and willingness to travel worldwide. Onsite work at MD facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years total including 2 years on mid/large aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with MTL, STM and Inspection to ensure FAA-compliant paperwork and sign-offs.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and properly document CMP cards and work orders.
• Identify and tag customer property; store components securely.
• Follow SOPs when operating ground support equipment.
• Coordinate aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
• Provide training to less experienced technicians.
• Protect customer property (PTP).
