Job Description

• Seal, fillet, cap seal, brush coat, etc., for major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and precision fuel cells.
• Apply scotch cast, leveling compound, aerodynamic seal, and pressure test, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established procedures.
• Assist in training to enable employees to perform all necessary functions.
• Work with blueprints, specifications, work orders, ensuring sealing meets quality standards.
• Complete data gathering transactions to facilitate seal progression.
• Perform rework, fabrication, change incorporation, and functional testing during or after sealing processes.
• Use measuring instruments as required.
• Report and investigate job issues such as errors, procedures, or tools.
• Support continuous production flow through training and assistance.
• Document discrepancies according to specifications.
• Temporarily attach parts or assemblies, install collars and hardware not related to drilling or countersinking.
• Apply sealing compounds to fuel cell and wing section components.
• Perform sealing for major assemblies, large structures, and aerodynamic seals.

Additional Information

This is a temporary contract position, with potential for extension or reduction in duration. Contractors are employed by Segula Technologies and assigned at the client’s facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in exterior aero seal preferred.
• Ability to work either shift.
• Pay rate plus $110 per diem (for non-local or residents over 100 miles).
• Training in Wichita, KS, with hotel reimbursement during training.
