Job summary

Insight Global seeks a junior-level Aircraft Systems Engineer to help design, integrate, and develop aircraft systems for a cutting-edge aerospace platform. You will translate requirements into system architectures and create system-level designs spanning mechanical and electrical subsystems, with emphasis on aft-section integration.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to decompose requirements, develop block diagrams, interfaces, and SOWs, and assist in vendor evaluation

Qualifications

• Decompose customer and program requirements into actionable system requirements.
• Develop system architectures, block diagrams, interface definitions, and signal flow diagrams.
• Create and maintain system design documentation, architecture artifacts, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into system architectures and designs for aircraft subsystems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate complex aircraft systems.
• Develop and review Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor specifications, and technical requirements.
• Support vendor evaluation, selection, and management activities.
