Job summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Support Mechanic (PFE) to perform minor maintenance and repairs on commercial aircraft in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include seat checks, interior component changes, and carpeting installations in accordance with company procedures.

The ideal candidate should hold an Airframe and Powerplant license, with avionics experience preferred. A second license may be pursued within 12 months, and candidates must pass background checks and

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Avionics experience preferred but not required.
• At least one license with plan to secure a second within 12 months.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge for aircraft.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must have the minimum tools required for the job.
• Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, audiogram and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on commercial aircraft.
• Assists mechanics with seat checks and interior component changes in bins and galleys.
• Install and repair carpeting and blankets on aircraft.
• Adhere to policies, manuals, procedures and safety requirements.
