Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and replacing aircraft sheet metal structures for commercial aircraft, following FAA regulations.

You will read blueprints, lay out fabrication, and install parts across Boeing and Airbus platforms. The position is contract to hire, onsite, with a first shift and a pay range of $39.12 to $46.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 35+ years of experience in aircraft structures, sheet metal repair, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and replace sheet metal structures per FAA regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts.
• Select appropriate sheet metal gauges and materials per specs.
• Layout dimensions with scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and operate equipment.
