Job summary

STS Aviation Services is seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Technicians to support heavy modification programs in Melbourne, FL. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience on commercial or large regional aircraft, with background in modifications including Wi‑Fi, winglets, interiors, or avionics installations.

FAA A&P license is strongly preferred but not required. You must own a complete set of basic hand tools and be able to pass written and hands‑on assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on commercial or large regional aircraft.
• Experience performing aircraft structural modifications.
• Experience with Wi-Fi systems, winglets, interiors, or avionics installations.
• Must own a complete set of basic hand tools.
• Must pass a written assessment and hands-on structures assessment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain an airport badge.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to work any shift or schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural modification and installation work on commercial and large regional aircraft.
• Support heavy aircraft structures and sheet metal modification activities.
• Perform structural work for Wi-Fi modifications and installations.
• Support winglet modification programs.
• Execute interior modification work and avionics installation tasks.
• Use hand tools to complete tasks and adhere to instructions.
• Complete maintenance and modification work per technical instructions and requirements.
• Maintain safe working practices during modification activities.
• Support aircraft maintenance and modification operations as needed.
