Job summary

Flexjet is seeking an experienced Structures Tech to work in our innovative in-house maintenance facility. This role involves the layout, fabrication, and repair of aircraft structures in compliance with engineering requirements.

The ideal candidate should have considerable experience in structural maintenance of aircraft, a high school diploma, and effective teamwork skills. The position demands rotation shifts and may require work in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate desired, not required.
• Minimum of three years heavy structural experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years' experience with various types of aircraft, power plant maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft structures.
• Read and interpret mechanical and structural blueprints.
• Assemble and mate aircraft parts using precision instruments.
• Modify aircraft structures according to engineering requirements.

Skills

Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate desired

Minimum of three years heavy structural experience

High school graduate or equivalent

Minimum of five years' experience with various types of aircraft

Working knowledge of rigging and installation

Ability to work in a team environment

Planning and organizational skills

Computer experience in Microsoft Office
