D.O.M. magazine is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician with at least 2 years of MRO experience to perform structural inspections and repairs on aircraft such as B737, B767, and A320 series.

A valid Airframe & Power Plant License is required, and duties include strict regulatory compliance and detailed record-keeping. The role involves using blueprints, working with engineers and technicians, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks in a full-time capacity in the Wilmington, NC

Qualifications

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance environments is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards for aircraft structures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections of aircraft structures according to maintenance manuals and regulatory standards.
  • Execute repairs and modifications on structural components using approved techniques and materials.
  • Assemble and install structural components and systems with precision per drawings.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines at all times.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure workflow quality.
  • Complete all structural rework/repair tasks, squawks, and EO requirements.
  • Use computer-based systems to document and track activities.
  • Fabricate detail parts from blueprints or engineering instructions.

Estimated Pay: Up to $1,300.00/Week (After Taxes) or equivalent to $40/HR DOE and Licenses

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in MRO environments (e.g., AAR Corp., Aviation Technical Services (ATS), Delta TechOps, Lufthansa Technik, StandardAero, ST Engineering) or with carriers such as Delta, Frontier, United, etc.
Technical Skills
  • Structural Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of aircraft structures according to maintenance manuals and regulatory standards.
  • Repair and Modification: Execute repairs and modifications on aircraft structural components using approved techniques and materials.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install structural components and systems on aircraft, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering drawings.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications performed, complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during all tasks and operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality aircraft maintenance.
  • Completes any or all structural rework/repair, squawks, and E.O.'s.
  • Perform work of the level described herein, interpret complex blueprints and use arithmetic involving decimals and fractions.
  • Must be able to utilize computer-based systems to perform duties.
  • May be required to work in a confined space.
