Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking a Structural Mech II to assemble and rivet aircraft structures in a GA production environment. You will read blueprints, follow work orders, and perform sheetmetal layout and riveting with precision to meet quality standards.

In this role, you will maintain logs, support 5S practices, and work with teammates to uphold safety and production goals. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work with various shift schedules at the Savannah facility.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and work orders to determine rivet patterns.
• Experience with sheetmetal fabrication, riveting, and assembly.
• Able to follow SOPs and maintain records.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely assemble and rivet structural parts and sheetmetal per drawings.
• Read orders and blueprints to determine hole patterns.
• Rivet using appropriate tools and ensure conformity.
• Maintain logs and support Lean 5S program.
• Work with peers to meet production schedules.
