Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA, is seeking an Aircraft Structural Design Engineer 2 to define the structural aspects of Gulfstream aircraft. You will shape airframe parts, integrate systems, select materials, and ensure designs are manufacturing-ready, on schedule, and within budget.

You will work with manufacturing, service teams, and suppliers to resolve design challenges and support new product development, applying sound engineering judgment and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• At least 18 months of related engineering experience is required.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, or design projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in written and verbal form.
• Teamwork across disciplines and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Develop structural definition of aircraft parts and assemblies.
• Create and support 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for manufacturing.
• Solve engineering problems involving aircraft structures, materials, and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, programs, suppliers, and customer support teams.
• Participate in design reviews and aircraft build-support activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.
