Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites in Salt Lake City seeks a Structural Assembler to join our aerospace team. You will assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts, reading detailed instructions and diagrams to ensure precise assemblies on fixtures or benches.

The role requires 1–2 years in complex aircraft assembly, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe workspace. A&P certification is a plus and attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience with complex aircraft assembly.
• Trade School certification such as A&P is desired.
• Ability to read drawings or blueprints.
• 1–2 years of experience using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts to form assemblies, working at benches or on a structure assembly fixture.
• Read and interpret aircraft assembly instruction plans, diagrams, drawings and other documentation with accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Assemble, fit, shim and install pre-fabricated parts and subassemblies such as spars, ribs, skins and fittings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; collaborate with quality department to meet inspection standards.
