Job summary
Canvas Inc. is hiring an Aircraft & Store Integration Engineer (Journeyman) to support AFLCMC/EBA at Eglin AFB, FL. You will work on systems engineering across the DoD lifecycle, develop interface control documents, and help integrate armament systems on aircraft.
The role requires a security clearance and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has DoD experience, interface control leadership, and knowledge of MIL-STD and UAI protocols, with on-site availability at
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years DoD or related experience, or Master's with 3+ years.
- Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs, system development, integration or sustainment.
- Experience leading Interface Control Working Groups (ICWG) and Interface Control Plans (ICP).
- Experience integrating weapons and carriage systems and mission planning tools such as JMPS.
Responsibilities
- Support DoD acquisition lifecycle activities from analysis through operations.
- Develop requirements, traceability, verification and technical documentation.
- Review technical documents and support design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
- Collaborate with program management, logistics, test and cybersecurity teams.
- Analyze system performance and contribute to design/process improvements.
