Job summary

DCS is seeking an Aircraft & Store Integration Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin AFB, FL. The role focuses on delivering weapons systems engineering across acquisition stages, integrating aircraft and stores, and ensuring compatibility with mission planning systems such as JMPS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in related discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs or similar engineering environments.
• Experience supporting system development, integration, and/or sustainment activities.
• Experience establishing and managing Interface Control Working Groups (ICWG), and the development of Interface Control Plans (ICP).
• Experience integrating weapons and carriage systems into aircraft and/or airborne platform Operational Flight Programs (OFP); management of changes to mission planning systems such as JMPS.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support).
• Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification.
• Conduct system design, integration, and technical analysis activities.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface documents, and engineering reports.
• Support technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and program milestone activities.
• Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams for integrated system performance.
• Analyze system performance and recommend design or process improvements.
• Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making.
