Job summary

V2X seeks an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic II to perform complex metal work on F-18 Naval Type models, repairing and fabricating airframes, skins, ribs, and fuel systems. Precision methods, FAA/NAMP procedures, and safety protocols apply in this critical role.

Applicants must pass a FRCSW cert, obtain a DoD security clearance, and hold a U.S. CDL. Medical and retirement benefits are part of the package; pay ranges align with the current CBA per hour and annualized totals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum experience as aircraft airframes or sheet metal mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of aircraft sheet metal duties including disassembly, repair, and reassembly of metal items and systems.
• Analyze structural damage and develop patterns; fabricate, install and repair metal parts from various materials.
• Apply riveting, patching, and joining techniques to meet appearance, strength, and tolerance standards.
