Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician for the Cedar Hill, TX area. The role involves hands-on sheet metal work on airframe components, including drilling, riveting, and fitting from drawings, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The position requires basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures, reading blueprints, and using related tools; English communication is essential. Training and a path for growth are offered in a dynamic MRO environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant license welcomed but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal processes (drilling, riveting, cutting).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Safely operate brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears and hand tools.
• Use basic computer skills to access manuals and maintenance data.
• Communicate effectively in English.
